Have you ever watched the movie which is 'Song and Lyric?'

In this movie, there is one famous quote which goes 'A melody is like seeing someone for the first time. But then, as you get to know the person, that's the lyric.' I really agree with this quote. A melody is like a first impression when you listen to the song. You are caught by the rhythm, but then, as you listen to the song more and more, there is a lyric. What is even more, lyric is also kind of poem.

I'm sure there is at least one more poem phrase on your mind. Like this, lyric of song can be on your mind and it can enrich your sensitivity and emotion.

It also has strong message which can cause change or give inspiration.

Thus, I want to share my favorite song lyrics with all of you!

In her song, she is saying that many people really consider how other people think about you, not focusing on ourselves. She is asking if other say you are pretty or give some praise, does it really make you feel happy? Of course, it would make you happy for a while. 'The world will live as one...' It's really needed right now to everyone in this world. I was really shocked after I heard the news which is about 'Paris attack'

What is religion? faith? We are all human. We have to live as one.

Narrative Essay - Have you ever met neighbor who influenced a lot on you?

Do you have some neighbors who are close to you? or Have  you ever seen your neighbor's face who lives next to your house? I'm pretty sure that nowadays many people will answer that "I don't maintain close relationships with my neighbors." Even some terrible conflicts and accidents between upstairs and downstairs can be heard because of noise complaint issues. However, when I was 7years old, I met one Chinese woman neighbor who influenced a lot  on me.

When I was 7years old, our family was living in an apartment where many young married couples lived. Thus, if I went to playground of our apartment, I could meet many friends who are peers of mine. A playground was one of the most important place to me at that time. One day when I went  there, there were many children as usual but one girl really caught my attention. Her eyes were really black and had wandering eyes. Since I saw someone who has squint for the first time, I was really curious about her, even though it was the reason other children didn't want to hang out with her.

My sister and I were her only friends and we were getting closer and one day, she invited me to her home.

When I met her mother, I was really shocked. Somehow her Korean wasn’t  understood clearly. She was Chinese! She was my a first foreigner I've ever met in my life. She  got married with Korean man. When I saw her wedding picture which was hung on the wall, her husband  looked much older than her. Since that day, I continuously had been to her house. Whenever I visited her home, she cooked really delicious food for me and we talked a lot. We became good friends.

Even though she was really good to me, I could notice at such a young age, she was bullied by other Korean neighbors. Especially among the group which we call them '아줌마(a-jum-ma).' When I was walking with her on the street of our apartment, her neighbors stared at her kind of badly. One day, some big conflict exploded. When I went her home, they were having an argument because of the Chinese girl always hang out her laundry in her neighbor’s area. The other 아줌마s, who were watching their fight, were taking Korean woman’s side. That argument was really shocking to me, I still remember.

I don't think the Korean woman got upset because of hanging out washes. She just didn't like Chinese for her some prejudices. Maybe it's the start of thinking that I want to help foreigners who are living in Korea. Whenever I see foreigner , they remind me of her and I want to help them. I think it also affected me to choose Korean as a second major in University. Language is the most difficult part which foreigner undergo. I can help them by being a teacher. I don't know where she is living now. At that time I was so young and I couldn't get any phone number of her. If I have a chance, I really want to meet her again and her daughter.

<Students Should Wear Uniforms in School>

What is the outstanding feature of Korean middle and high school students?

Spending a whole day in school? or serious competition? These are internal aspect. When it comes to appearance, most of you might mention 'school uniform'. In Korea, almost every student from middle and high school student wears a uniform. Wearing a uniform is the rule of most schools.

However, it has been an argument for a long time. About it, students should wear uniforms in school, because there are many positive points.

First, wearing uniform can prevent students from feeling social disharmony.

Let's imagine the situation that you are a high school student wearing just normal brands of clothes between friends who are wearing really expensive clothes. Can you feel comfortable being there? Adolescence is the period when mob psychology works significantly. It means students strongly want to be similar or same with other classmates. In this context, if one student is not wearing good clothes as much as other classmates , it will be stressful and make him or her depressed.

Second is uniform can make students focus on their study or other productive things. Most adolescents start to be strongly interested in looking better on their appearance and outfit. If they can wear whatever they want, they will spend much time to find nicest and the latest style. To pick up clothes which can make them satisfied, they have to compare price and style, brand and so on a budget. It really takes much time. To do this, they can miss precious time which could allow them develop themselves and learn.

Some might say wearing uniform oppresses student's freedom of expression. Also they claim it blocks students from having creativity.

However, seriously do you really think that letting them wear whatever they want makes them more creative? Do they express their passion and creativity by fashion? I don't think so. Surely, it isn’t. Educational environment is more important. More special education system or financial support, special program is needed. Absolutely school exists for learning. School isn't a fashion show, students are not a model.

Like above, There are many benefits of wearing uniform.

First is It helps some students not to feel inferior.

Second is It makes students focus more on studying.

Third is actually, student’s freedom of expression and creativity are not oppressed by uniform. By using time productively, they can do more effective things. Thus, I insist students should wear a uniform in school.
